McKesson Corporation – 3 years
In his most recent corporate position, Ron was Director of Pathology Business Development at McKesson Corporation, formerly Per-Se Technologies. McKesson is an approximately $90B company that provides products and services in the healthcare vertical. They are the leading provider of outsourced business services to physicians and hospitals with more than 115,000 physician clients and 3,000 hospital clients. As Director of Pathology Business Development, he was responsible for the turnaround of a struggling sales region. Ron quickly built a solid understanding of the service offering and client needs, while attaining his assigned annual multimillion-dollar quota and gaining entry into the President's Club.
SGS Group – 11 years
Prior to joining McKesson, Ron spent 11 years with SGS Group, the world's leader in inspection, verification, testing and certification. During his tenure, he held various positions in field operations, management and sales. In his final position with the company as a National Sales Executive, he managed four of the company's highest revenue grossing accounts with annual totals in excess of $12M. He was also responsible for $2M in annual new sales.

Internet and software savvy, Ron has worked for several companies specializing in lab-related software where he managed the entire sales cycle.

Born in Memphis, TN, Ron attended the University of Memphis and is currently living in Mount Pleasant, SC, a suburb of Charleston, SC. He is an active member of the community where he participates in various business, civic and volunteer organizations. Ron is a member of the Charleston Chamber of Commerce and Toastmasters International. Also, he has spent many days training for various athletic pursuits from football to “IronMan,” and appreciates the value of coaching in all aspects of life. |
